These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry instructions are deemed to form part of the terms and conditions and by entering this promotion all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions.  Please retain a copy for your information.

The personal data provided by entrants to the Promoter will only be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting the promotion and at all times in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy (available at https://heineken.co.uk/legal-hub/?article=privacy-policy). From time to time, the Promoter may share entrants’ personal data with their agents/representatives to assist with administering the promotion, contacting entrants and prize fulfilment (as necessary).

Only open to UK residents aged 18 or over, excluding employees of any company in the Heineken group and any person whom, in the Promoter’s reasonable opinion, should be excluded due to their involvement or connection with this promotion. 

 

1. HOW TO TAKE PART

In order to take part in this promotion participants should follow the steps noted below:

a. Purchase one of the following promotional packs of Amstel Bier: 4x440ml cans, 10x440ml cans, 6x300ml bottles, 12x300ml bottles, 15x300ml bottles, or 20x300ml bottles from a participating retailer. Subject to availability. Service is at the discretion of the checkout staff. Particpants should retain their receipt as proof of purchase may be required for prize validation. If proof of purchase is requested and cannot be provided the Promoter may elect to withhold the prize at their sole discretion. 
b. The product will have a 5-digit pack code starting with a letter (e.g. K6123) on the back label of the bottle and on the underside of the can underneath the best before date.
c. Participants should go to www.amstelbier.co.uk/win and input their first name, last name and email address.
d. Participants will be required to enter their pack code and will instantly be informed if they have won a prize.

For Residents of Northern Ireland

e) No purchase necessary for residents of Northern Ireland. To enter, contact ukcustomerservices@amstel.com or call 0345 030 3282 to receive a code. Enter the code at www.amstelbier.co.uk/win as above. Please allow 5 working days for a response and a code to be issued.

 

2. PRIZES

The prizes available to be won are as follows:

There will be a minimum of 15 prizes allocated per month across from 06/01/20 to 04/01/21 consisting of:

TIER 1:

A minimum of 72 x European City Breaks for Two People (minimum 6 per month) with the maximum value of £1,200

TIER 2:

A minimum of 108 Pairs of Return Flights to Europe (minimum 9 per month; national flights / UK-UK flights excluded) with the maximum value of £200.

OR

Winners who do not wish to fly may claim an alternative tier 2 prize of a £200 Train + Hotel Gift Card voucher which may be redeemed against Eurostar + Hotel packages. There is no guarantee the voucher will cover the full cost of a package and the winner will be required to make up any shortfall.

 

3. PRIZE TERMS

TIER 1 – EUROPEAN CITY BREAKS FOR 2 PEOPLE

PACKAGE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. The Prize is a trip for two people (aged 18+) to one of the following destinations: Amsterdam, Paris, Rome, Lisbon, Berlin, Venice, Munich, Budapest, Brussels, Cologne, Vilnius or Krakow for 3 nights, consisting of: two economy class return flights to one of the above destinations from either London, Manchester, Edinburgh or Belfast Airports; 3 nights in 4 star accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis; and return private transfer from airport with a maximum value of £1,200.
  2. Only one tier one prize may be won per person in the course of the promotion. Additional wins will not be fulfilled at the booking stage and the prize will be entered back into the available prize pool. No compensation will be provided.
  3. Travel can also be taken on the Eurostar train service for Amsterdam, Paris, Lille & Brussels, consisting of two standard class return train tickets from London St. Pancras, Ebbsfleet International or Ashford International. All other conditions as above.
  4. Direct flights or trains are not guaranteed to your selected destination, and indirect flights and trains may be offered.
  5. Other departure airports are subject to availability and can be requested provided they fall within the max value of £1,200. 
  6. The winner will be responsible for ensuring they hold a valid passport, Visa and meet all entry requirements at the point of arrival to their chosen destination.
  7. The Promoter will not be responsible in the event that the winner is denied entry to the selected airport or destination.
  8. Checked luggage may not be included in your flight ticket, as per the individual ticket fare rules, which will be made available to you at the time of booking.
  9. Travel may not take place during any UK public holidays respective of the country that the winner departs from. Travel can be requested during the school holidays, however subject to availability and the condition that the prize falls within the maximum commercial value for £1,200.
  10. The voucher must be used to book travel by 31/01/21 and no later than 30 days in advance of travel. Outgoing travel date must be before by 30/06/21.
  11. Resort fees and local taxes are charged by local governments or hotel operators, and are mandatory. These fees are not included in the price quoted by lastminute.com, and must be paid separately to the hotel upon arrival. All taxes/fees are payable in the hotel’s local currency.
  12. The voucher is valid for one booking only. Once it has been used, it will not be possible to use it again or receive any leftover credit.
  13. The voucher cannot be sold or combined with other discounts, promotions or cashback activities.
  14. The voucher is not refundable, it cannot be exchanged for cash or other goods and services.
  15. Winners may request cancellation of the Flight + Hotel package booked. In this case, the value of the voucher code will be lost and the winners will not be able to re-schedule their trip. Neither the Promoter nor lastminute.com shall provide any reimbursement for the value of a lost voucher code nor will a new voucher code be provided.

 

TIER 1 – EUROPEAN CITY BREAKS FOR 2 PEOPLE 

REDEMPTION INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Winners will be sent a unique 16-digit voucher code to their email and supplied a link to https://book.lastminute.com/ where they will be able to enter the voucher code.
  2. Winners should then enter their first name, last name, desired departure airport, end destination, possible departure dates, telephone, email address and then submit their booking request.
  3. Winners will be called within 5 days to book their trip.
  4. Once booked, a confirmation email will be sent to the winner’s email address.

 

TIER 2 – PAIRS OF RETURN FLIGHTS TO EUROPE –

PACKAGE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. The Return Flights Voucher for 2 passengers may be used on www.freeflights2.lastminute.com/ to book a return flight for 2 passengers from the UK to a European destination (no domestic flights) up to the maximum value of £200.
  2. Vouchers must be used to book travel by 31/01/21.
  3. The code will enable the winner to pick from a selection of available flights up to 10 months in advance (depending on the current flights availability for the selected departure, destination and periods).
  4. At least one passenger must be 18+.
  5. The code used to book the flights does not include any additional flight costs (for example warranty costs, check-in luggage or name change).
  6. No checked luggage will be provided using the voucher. Any required checked luggage will be at the sole cost of the winner and subject to the availability of the airline.
  7. The code is valid for one booking only. Once the voucher has been used, the winner will not be able to use it again or receive any leftover credit.
  8. It is possible to request the cancellation of the flight booking made with a voucher, but in doing so the winner forfeits the right to any form of reimbursement; any change fees are at the discretion of selected and reserved airlines. The Promoter will not responsible for any costs relating to rescheduling or cancellation.
  9. Before the winner receives confirmation of the booking, lastminute.com will verify and confirm the booking with the airline. If the booking is not confirmed, lastminute.com will allow the winner to book a new flight with the same or a new voucher code.
  10. The available flights are the same price as the ones offered by lastminute.com group properties (directly entering via www.lastminute.com and without any redirect from possible offers on metasearch websites or search platforms), and excluding of specific promotions e.g. special rates on specific payment methods.
 

TIER 2 – PAIRS OF RETURN FLIGHTS TO EUROPE –

REDEMPTION INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Winners of a tier 2 prize will receive a 16-digit unique code and will be directed to a search engine hosted by the travel partner that will allow winners to select and book a qualifying flight.
  2. In order to redeem the prize, winners will have to search for flights by specifying their travel criteria (destination, airport or geographic area of departure, departure and arrival dates).
  3. Winners may select the flight that best meets the preferred requirements from the search results.
  4. On the reservation summary page, winners must complete all relevant passenger details and insert the unique voucher code in the section “Enter your voucher here / please insert your code”.
  5. After the filling all details, winners must click “Confirm” to validate the booking. Winners will receive a separate email containing the details of the confirmed booking.

TIER 2 ALTERNATIVE: £200 TRAIN + HOTEL GIFT CARDS –

REDEMPTION INSTRUCTIONS

To use the £200 gift card:

  1. Winners should go to www.lastminute.com, and select “Eurostar” to book a combined package.
  2. Winners should search for the holiday package, specifying their travel criteria (destination, where they are departing from, number of travellers, date of departure and arrival).
  3. Winners should select the holiday package that best meets their requirements from the search results.
  4. On the reservation summary page, winners should complete all relevant passenger details and insert their voucher code in the section “BOOK USING YOUR DISCOUNT CODE / PLEASE INSERT YOUR CODE” and click “Apply and Recalculate.”
  5. Winners should complete the form with their remaining details and click confirm to validate the booking.
  6. The voucher is only valid for use on the website www.lastminute.com, section “Eurostar” and not for any other holiday packages.
  7. The voucher is to be used by 31/01/2021.
  8. The voucher cannot be sold.
  9. The voucher cannot be combined with other discounts, cashback activities or promotions.
  10. The voucher is only valid for payments settled through www.lastminute.com: hotel stays or other accommodation facilities which include an upon arrival payment are excluded from this promotion.
  11. Winners have to visit lastminute.com directly and without any redirect from third parties’ websites (Skyscanner, Google adverts etc).
  12. The voucher is not refundable, it cannot be exchanged for cash or other goods and services.

 

4. £10 GIFT CARD

All entrants who do not win a tier one or tier two prize will be provided a £10 discount voucher to use on www.lastminute.com.

To use the £10 gift card voucher code:

  1. Search flight, hotel or flight + hotel packages on lastminute.com, specifying your travel criteria (destination, where you are flying from and date of departure and arrival, number of people).
  2. Select the flight, hotel or flight + hotel package that best meets your requirements from the search results
  3. On the reservation summary page, complete all relevant passenger details and insert your voucher code in the section “BOOK USING YOUR DISCOUNT CODE / Please insert your code” and click “Apply and Recalculate”
  4. Complete the remaining details and click confirm to validate your booking.
  5. The voucher is only valid for use on flight, hotels or flight + hotel pages on www.lastminute.com for a flight, hotel or flight + hotel package among the available offers. It’s not valid for any other services not specified above.
  6. Voucher holders can book travel up until 30/06/2021.
  7. Only one £10 voucher may be used per transaction.

 

TERMS APPLICABLE TO ALL ELEMENTS OF THE PROMOTION AND ALL PRIZES

5. No additional travel, subsistence, spending money, gratuities, costs of a personal nature or accommodation are included in any of the prizes. These costs must be borne by the winner and their guest.

6. There are no cash or other alternatives to any of the prizes in whole or in part.

7. Prizes are not transferable.

8. The Promoter reserves the right to reclaim a prize if it is transferred.

9. The Promoter does not warrant that any of the trips will free of disruption and will not be responsible for any delays or cancellations.

10. Subject to early termination by the Promoter, for any reason, participants will be able to enter between 06/01/2020 and midnight on 04/01/2021. No new entries will be accepted after 04/01/2021.

11. Entries must be made personally. Entries made through agents/third parties, bulk entries or automated entries are invalid.

12. Winners have until midnight on the 31/01/2021 to claim and use their tier 1 or tier 2 voucher code. After this time the vouchers will expire. Any unclaimed tier 1 and tier 2 prizes will be put into a separate prize draw on the 25/02/2021 and reallocated to other participants. New winners will be notified by 26/02/2021 and must claim their prize by 31/03/2021.

13. This offer is limited to one entry per person per day.

14. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for lost or stolen codes.

15. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for lost, damaged, incomplete, illegible or delayed codes uploaded to the website, such entries will be void.The Promoter does not accept any responsibility for the non-receipt or the late receipt of submitted codes due to network failure or for any associated costs to participants.

16. No entries submitted via any other means than the means described in these terms and conditions will be accepted.The Promoter does not guarantee uninterrupted or secure access to the web entry route.Any mechanical reproduction or automated entries is prohibited, and any use of such automated devices will cause disqualification.

17. A minimum of 180 prizes will be awarded to participants in the course of this promotion (a minimum of 15 per month). Once these prizes have been awarded no further prizes will be provided subject to the discretion of the Promoter.

18. The Promoter will not be liable for any reimbursement where a purchase has been made but the code not submitted prior to the end of the promotion.

19. The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries and to refuse to award a prize and/or refuse further participation and disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or any instructions forming part of the entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has entered the promotion using fraudulent means.The Promoter will be the final arbiter in any decisions, and these will be binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.

20. The decision of the Promoter in all matters is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.

21. The Promoter is not responsible for any third-party acts or omissions.

22. The Promoter does not guarantee that the promotion will be free from disruptions, failings or cancellations.The Promoter is not liable for such disruptions, failings or cancellations

23. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend this promotion at any time for any reason.

24. All taxes (including without limitation national & local taxes) in connection with any prize and the reporting consequence thereof, are the sole responsibility of the prize winner.

25. These rules and any dispute or difference arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law.The Promoter and each entrant irrevocably agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales over any claim or matter arising under or in connection with these rules or the legal relationships established by this agreement.
